Renaming a bunch of folders
Removing All Files and Folders Within a Folder. You can remove contained items using Remove-Item, but you will be prompted to confirm the removal if the item contains anything else.For example, if you attempt to delete the folder C:tempDeleteMe that contains other items, Windows PowerShell prompts you for confirmation before deleting the folder. At my work, all the scripts related to VMware are named ESX--. And I use the same naming convention at home for my own scripts. So let's say I want to rename all those *ESX* folders by VMWARE instead.Something like this:VMWARE--
